Giga Europe 2025 to chart the future of battery technology and electric vehicle manufacturing in Europe.

Giga Europe 2025 stands as a premier forum for industry leaders to chart the future of battery technology and electric vehicle manufacturing in Europe.

With a focus on raw material sourcing and the evolving landscape of mineral processing, the event gathers experts from across the energy, mining, and automotive sectors.
Join industry leaders at the Autoworld venue in Parc du Cinquantenaire, Brussels, for an incisive panel discussion scheduled, and with ICMM’s Policy Lead, John Lindberg, will contribute his insights on key challenges facing the industry ranging from the future of battery raw material prices to the potential for Europe to onshore critical mineral mining and processing.

The discussion will also examine the role played by Europe’s mining and energy leaders in shaping the lithium-ion battery economy.

Moderated by Daisy Jennings-Gray, Head of Prices at Benchmark Mineral Intelligence, the panel includes influential voices such as Francesco Gattiglio, VP External Affairs at Albemarle; Stefan Debruyne, Director of External Affairs at SQM; Jonathan V., Director of External Affairs Europe at Rio Tinto; and Vincenzo A. Conforti, Head of Government Relations Europe at Glencore.

This session promises to deliver valuable insights and foster robust dialogue on the strategic imperatives for a competitive and sustainable battery sector in Europe. All industry professionals and stakeholders are invited to attend and participate in this critical conversation.
