CBZ Bank Limited is Zimbabwe's largest commercial bank by deposits and a flagship subsidiary of CBZ Holdings Limited (ZSE: CBZ), a publicly traded financial services conglomerate. Founded in 1980 and headquartered at 60 Kwame Nkrumah Avenue in Harare, CBZ Bank operates 37 branches nationwide and serves retail, business and corporate clients across all major cities and towns in Zimbabwe including Harare, Bulawayo, Mutare, Gweru, Masvingo and Victoria Falls. CBZ Bank commands a 21.4% market share of customer deposits and approximately 30% of USD point-of-sale transactions, making it the dominant financial institution in the country. The bank's Corporate Banking division is one of Zimbabwe's most active financiers of the mining sector, providing project finance, structured lending, trade finance and working capital to gold, platinum, diamond, coal and lithium mining companies.
