Element has appointed Guy Badianyama Kasangana as Sales Director for Southern Africa, based in the company's Johannesburg office, effective June 1, 2026. Badianyama Kasangana brings more than 20 years of experience in the mining and minerals processing industry across Sub-Saharan Africa, spanning technical support, project execution, key account management, and business development.
His career has progressed through a series of technical and commercial roles at mining industry companies, from Project Engineer and Technical Sales Support to Regional Site Account Manager, Territory Sales Manager for Central and West Africa, and most recently Sales Manager of Mill Lining for the Africa region. In his new role, Badianyama Kasangana will lead Element's sales activities across Southern Africa, working with customers and partners to strengthen the company's regional presence. No financial details or revenue targets associated with the appointment were disclosed.
