WAF's second mine, the Kiaka Gold Operations (~45 km south of Sanbrado), poured first gold in June 2025 — again ahead of schedule and under budget — and is expected to average 270,000+ ounces annually over the next decade with a mine plan extending to 2042. Together with the Toega satellite deposit (~13 km from Sanbrado, first production targeted for Q3 2026), WAF's 10-year production outlook published in March 2026 targets 4.8–5.3 million ounces from 2026–2035, with annual production averaging 533,000 ounces and peaking at 596,000 ounces in 2030.
