Tlou Energy Limited (ASX: TOU; BSE: TLOU) is an ASX and Botswana Stock Exchange-listed energy company developing the Lesedi Coal Bed Methane (CBM) Gas-to-Power Project in Botswana's Central District — one of the most advanced CBM projects in southern Africa. Tlou 100% owns and operates the Lesedi Project, which has independently certified gas reserves, a production licence and all key government approvals in place. The project has direct access to Botswana's national power grid and the Southern African Power Pool (SAPP). Tlou has constructed a 100-kilometre 66kV transmission line connecting Lesedi to the national grid and targets delivery of up to 25MW of clean gas-fired power to the Botswana Power Corporation (BPC). The project's CBM resource covers over 8,000 square kilometres in Botswana. In addition to gas power, Tlou is exploring solar, data centre and AI-related ancillary opportunities at the Lesedi site. Tlou is headquartered in Brisbane, Australia, with a Botswana office at Victoria House, 132 Independence Avenue, Gaborone, and is a registered member of the Botswana Chamber of Mines (BCM).
