Mimosa Mining Company (Pvt) Ltd is Zimbabwe's premier platinum group metals (PGM) producer, owned 50:50 by Impala Platinum Holdings Limited (Implats) and Sibanye-Stillwater in a joint venture through their holding company Mimosa Investments Limited. Located on the Wedza Geological Complex of the Great Dyke in Zvishavane, Midlands Province, Mimosa operates a mechanised shallow underground mine with a decline shaft and a concentrator, producing platinum, palladium, rhodium, gold, ruthenium, iridium and base metals including nickel and copper. Mimosa is one of Zimbabwe's most safety-conscious and ESG-compliant mining operations, holding ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) and ISO 17025 (Testing and Calibration Laboratories) accreditations. The mine employs approximately 2,000 people and contributes substantially to the economy of Zvishavane and the broader Midlands Province through wages, procurement, royalties and taxes. Mimosa participates in the Zimbabwe Chamber of Mines First Aid Competition and maintains a strong community development programme. Head office is in Harare with mining operations in Zvishavane.
