About
Fortuna Mining Corp (NYSE: FSM; TSX: FVI) is a Canadian precious metals mining company operating the Séguéla Gold Mine in Côte d'Ivoire — one of West Africa's newest and most productive gold mines — through its subsidiary Roxgold SANGO S.A. The Séguéla Mine poured its first gold on 22 May 2023, on time and on budget, becoming Fortuna's flagship operation. Located in the Woroba District approximately 500 kilometres from Abidjan near the town of Séguéla, the mine operates a 3,750 tonne-per-day open-pit facility processing ore from multiple deposits: Antenna, Koula, Agouti, Boulder, Ancien, Sunbird and Kingfisher. In 2024, Séguéla produced 137,781 ounces of gold, generating strong free cash flow. Mineral reserves stand at 1 million ounces with over 9 years of mine life. Fortuna is growing its Séguéla resource base through active exploration — an extensive brownfields programme is identifying additional underground resources at Sunbird and new deposits across the 62,000-hectare licence. Fortuna's West Africa head office is in Abidjan and the mine site is in Worofla Commune. Fortuna's total production in 2025 was approximately 317,000 gold equivalent ounces across all operations.
