About
Caledonia Mining Corporation plc (NYSE American: CMCL; AIM: CMCL; VFEX: CMCL) is a Zimbabwean-focused gold production, exploration and development company listed on three exchanges. Caledonia's primary asset is a 64% stake in the Blanket Mine — Zimbabwe's premier gold mine, located in the Gwanda Greenstone Belt of Matabeleland South and one of the longest continuously operated gold mines in Africa with over 125 years of production history. Blanket produces approximately 75,000–80,000 ounces of gold annually, employs over 1,500 people predominantly from local communities, and operates a solar power plant to reduce energy costs and carbon footprint. In addition to Blanket, Caledonia owns 100% of the Bilboes Sulphide Gold Project — a large greenfields development in Matabeleland North with a published feasibility study (November 2025) targeting production of over 168,000 ounces per year — and the Motapa and Maligreen exploration claims. Caledonia is headquartered in Saint Helier, Jersey, with its principal Zimbabwean operations managed from Gwanda and Harare.
