B2Gold Corp is a Canadian-headquartered gold producer listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (BTO), NYSE American (BTG) and Namibian Stock Exchange (B2G), operating the Otjikoto Gold Mine approximately 70 kilometres northwest of Otjiwarongo in Namibia's Otjozondjupa Region. Otjikoto has been a producing mine since 2014 and is the largest employer in the Otjozondjupa region, with a predominantly Namibian workforce. The mine operates two open pits — Otjikoto and Wolfshag — and an underground Wolfshag mine targeting high-grade ore. The mine has contributed billions of Namibian dollars to the national economy through taxes, royalties, salaries and local procurement since opening. B2Gold's broader portfolio includes operations in Mali, Philippines and other jurisdictions. The Otjikoto open-pit operations were winding down through 2024-2025 with ongoing underground operations at Wolfshag expected to continue through 2026, supported by exploration results indicating potential for extending mine life at a new target approximately 3km south of the current pit.
